My home button doesn't work on my iPad!

I reset my iPad and I forgot that my home button wasn't working and the iOS update I have requires me to "press home button to unlock" and since I had reset my iPad I can't do anything else (it's at the screen where there's languages and I can't even get past it to go to setting and turn on assistive touch or something).

I'm afraid I don't have a good idea for you, aside from getting the home button fixed. Hopefully someone will respond who knows how to help you.

Is there an Apple Store nearby? I’m sure they can help you out, and maybe fix the home button for you too.

One answer that was given that you could try is to use iTunes. The method to use is on this website, where a person asked a similar question where his iPhone 5s home button didn't work.
