Try doing a hard reset. If that does not work then restore your iPad as new.

I had the same problem, white screen in the Game Center. Hard reset didn't work and neither did a factory reset and reload.

My solution was as follows: turn screen lock to never, click on Game Center and let it open (this can take 5-10-20 minutes) once it's open go to your games and swipe left to remove them from Game Center. This has worked for me.
