My first iPhone, a 6 -- how do I delete a contact?

This is my first smart phone, and I've resisted them because I am a technophobic 70 year old woman. But my son gave me his old iPhone 6 for Christmas -- so . . . how do I delete a contact?

Initiate the Contacts app, select the contact you want to delete, select "Edit" in the upper right corner, and then scroll to the bottom to select "Delete Contact".
