Like last year when I tested out the then new 6 Plus at my local Apple Store (Pentagon City) on launch day (Friday September 19, 2014), this year on Saturday September 25, 2015, I tested out the iPhone 6s Plus Space Gray at another local Apple Store (Georgetown, DC). This is the model I am hoping to get by December.
I think it is a significant improvement over the 6 Plus. The 2 GB of ram, 3D Touch, 4K video recording, Live Photos, 12 MP rear camera and the 5 MP FacetimeHD camera, are great additions. I was disappointed that the FaceTime HD camera still does not shoot 1080p, only 720p. I hope that the 7 Plus will fix this.
I will be testing the phone out regularly before I buy it. I will also be reading reviews and watching YouTube videos of it.
What do you think of your 6s Plus? Is it a vast improvement coming from the iPhone 5s? This will be the case for me when I get it.
