My apple 5s will not charge and there is a little symbol beside it like a lightening flash

The phone is only weeks old. I have tried it on other chargers but it won't charge. Seems to be stuck. Help

The lightning bolt should be an indicator that it IS charging. If it's not charging despite that symbol, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store and have them check it.
