I have a variety of soundtracks on my iPhone's music app, and a couple have a few short tracks here and there lasting a few to several seconds. A problem that only started happening at some point within the last couple of iOS updates is that the scrub bar seems to lag behind when the app plays those shorter tracks. Consequently, the app starts playing the next track before the scrub bar "realizes" the short track is over, which results in the whole app freezing up the moment it realizes it's not synced up.
This has long-term consequences as well. The next track that plays never gets acknowledged as having played, as it just plays in the background while the app is still stuck on the track before it, and the Last Played and Play Count statistics don't get updated. Is there any way to fix this issue?
