I have not seen anything about Bluetooth mouse support and there is no trackpad on the keyboard. Makes no sense to have a "Pro" model and still have to reach and use fingers to scroll.

I am really considering investing in one, but would really like for it to have some type of other input method other than having to reach up to the screen every time you want to manipulate something! I can see that getting old very fast.

It is possible if Apple open its API for that. It should come when we have something like the macbook air + ipad pro = Macbook Air Touch . XD

The iOS ecosystem isn't designed for a mouse and I don't think that Apple is interested in changing it to accommodate one. The company has been very straightforward in stating that they are keeping iOS and OSX separate. So, not looking good for an iPad mouse (iMouse?) right now but you never know what the future will bring.

I would only expect to see that if Apple makes an iPad-like device running OSX. The problem is OSX isn't designed for touch just like iOS isn't designed for a mouse. Apple has kept it that was on purpose, which is why we haven't seen a touch screen MacBook.
