Can one make monthly payments for on contract phone purchase?

Also, can I still switch a eligible phone line to another phone line? I have one line with unlimited data, and the eligible line does not. I want new phone on unlimited data line without losing UD.

The only way to make monthly payments on your phone is to get the Verizon edge plan. You used to be able to upgrade with a different line and keep the upgrade. I'm not sure if it's still available. There are numerous threads on it c
