So many people miss their MMS and have no idea that the following is possible. If you are one of the ones who miss MMS on your iPhone I feel your pain but the only way to send pics, at least for now, is via email. You can email pics to other cell phones with ease. All it takes is a little help from your friends by getting their service provider. Then simply add a second email address in their contact info using the below:

Alltel = xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com
AT&T = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.att.net (NO LONGER WORKING)
Boost Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@myboostmobile.com
Einstein PCS = xxxxxxxxxx@einsteinmms.com
Sprint = xxxxxxxxxx@pm.sprint.com
T-Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@tmomail.net
US Cellular = xxxxxxxxxx@mms.uscc.net
Verizon Wireless = xxxxxxxxxx@vzwpix.com

Nextel = xxxxxxxxxx@messaging.nextel.com

If they want to send you a pic just simply make sure they send them to your email you have set up on your phone. Simple.

It does look like it's not working at the moment. Now if it's temporary or not, I do not know. I'll look into it.

AT&T hasn't worked for a little while now. Your friends can still send pics to you though by typing in the email you check on your iPhone, works great.

OS 3.0 will be here soon enough, you went 2 years with no MMS; what's another month or 2?

Actually that email address was used to send to other AT&T phones from your iPhones email account. At least that's what I meant by setting the above list up.

I know I can't use it using AT&T's smtp server, but if you send through a gmail account or a me.com account using their smtp servers it should work, at least is does for me.Sending to my mms email addy or my wifes mms email addy.

I tried that exactly, twice actually, and both times the email with a single picture came back to me @me email.

Try a smaller picture. Might have been to big for mms. I just did it to my iPhone and my wife's bold.

Don't know what to tell ya except that it still works for me, the viewmymessages link never did no matter how it was sent.

Duvi I'm on Beta 5 and still using MMS I updated rather than restored and not had a problem

I went ahead and updated to 5 - was afraid of 4 timing out. Since my mms never worked (although it was there and usable...just couldn't send), I figured it didn't much matter.

Uh...AT&T MMS Email address has been working for me for years. I used that before MMS came to my phone, and sometimes still use it because, well I just want to.
