The crowd downtown was insane. I have never seen so many people in one place - and we didn't even migrate down to Union Station for the celebration. After standing for hours, we'd had enough and caught the bus ride home. So glad I blew off work and went down there.

HoF fame day. Thrilled to see Griffey make it into the hall today. Been wearing his jersey the last couple of days in support. Really holding the torch for Edgar Martinez. He polled 20 points higher than he has in the past this year! I think all the attention he has been getting from some of the great pitchers that have made it in over the last few years is helping him.

So little to cheer about as a Mariners fan, but it felt like a good day today!
