Migrating from iTunes Match to Apple Music

Hi,
I remember back when Apple Music was initially released there were lots of problems for people who had large iTunes music libraries. have all the issues been resolved?

I have been using iTunes Match since it came out, and have got a large music library, with some unique music that would never be available traditionally, however, I would like to try moving to Apple Music, rather than buying new tracks, but am a bit nervous.

Has anyone successfully moved, can anyone offer advice?

I didn’t have iTunes Match, but you should be safe to unsubscribe for iTunes Match once you have subscribed to Music.

Most problems from the beginning days of Music are solved and non-existent anymore.

But making a backup of your owned songs to an external disk would not be a wrong thing to do, just to be safe.
