Does it seem like other companies get a pass on certain things that Apple gets blasted about in the news? Every product is compared to an Apple product, which might be a good thing, but it gets boring hearing all the trash talk on Apple and making comparisons that don’t make sense. Next on the scene, the Microsoft Surface Laptop is of course compared to the Macbook Pro, but gets passes on certain critisism. Remember the riots about the Macbook Pro having only up to 16 gb of RAM? The Surface Laptop also has that same constraint (thanks to Intel), but no one is talking about that. It actually comes with only 4 gb of RAM, only 128 gb of SSD, and Intel HD graphics. Meanwhile, Apple has double the RAM and double SSD storage, and Intel Iris, capable of still powering a 5K display. IN THEIR BASE MODEL. So the Microsoft Surface Laptop is cheaper because it uses inferior parts with less storage and RAM. Apple uses far stronger ports that can transform into anything with adaptors, while the Surface Laptop gets no flack for using two underpowered retro connections. You still have to pay an additional 50 dollars to get a fully working version of Windows 10 so you can get apps, when Apple gives free upgradable software. No flack about lack of ports, and no flack about only 16 gb of RAM. Why the lack of scrutiny for Microsoft?
