I have an iPhone 5 I want to send a picture or-video to somebody who does not have an iPhone can I do that or do I have to email it to them

Videos are restricted in size. Anything over 60 seconds may not work going to a non iPhone.

You can text it if its a picture, but a video probably won't send via text so you could do that using email or a messaging app that sends texts using your wifi or cellular data connection. Ex. KiK, Whatsapp
