Measurements for rooms

Can anyone point me in the right direction for an app that measures rooms ?

Any app that does measuring would need to be done by a company that makes some sort of measuring device... perhaps laser based...and they'd make a companion app for their hardware... there are apps out there that claim to use GPS to take measurements of land... but the accuracy of the GPS isn't enough for most land survey situations let alone rooms...
