I would like to share with you that our app for mobile car license plate recognition is just released in the AppStore. LPR technology for vehicles fits any sector where safety and efficiency in license plate recognition is required. Thanks to our technology created with advanced deep learning algorithms our app allows the reading and recognition of different license plate formats depending on the country it belongs.

Use our e-mail reporting form that you could fill out with one tap and report easily traffic incidents or share information with insurance providers and others.

@Just_Me_D: we think about the following use cases of our app:

- users could collect license plates on a parking for a purpose of tracking time schedule and collecting taxes;
- users could collect license plates and report a car for improper parking;
- users could collect license plate after some kind of traffic accident;
- users could collect license plates at their properties and analyze them later in case of crimes, etc.
- users could collect a license plate, copy the number and not enter it manually in case sending of SMS for parking purposes;
- users could integrate scanned license plates with third party software systems based of the export feature that the app provides;

There are for sure more use cases of our app. The long term benefits are automating the process of recognition and easy copying without remembering license plate numbers for later use. We have invested a lot of time with machine learning technologies with Core ML models to train these models and we think that based on the received feedback so far for our Android version this Mobile LPR app will be useful for various of purposes.
@Mr.Willie: License plate captures include a color image of the license plate, the license plate read as interpreted by the system, a time and date stamp, GPS coordinates of the phone making the license plate capture. There is no personally identifiable information contained in a license plate capture. In fact, only with permissible purpose under the Federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) may an officer connect a license plate to an individual by accessing other systems. License plate reader data, by itself, is completely anonymous.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the app isn’t useful. It’s just difficult for me to find it practical for the average consumer. With that being said, you might consider targeting companies in the field of law enforcement and security, if you haven’t already, but that’s just my personal opinion. Anyway, best of success to you with your app.
