Since the upgrade to IOS9 my mail app badge shows that I have 843 messages unread. Before updating I had none. After updating the badge icon showed up. Went through all 3 of my mail accounts to make sure I have no unreads, but badge still shows up as 843. Any ideas?

Some people have found success doing one of the following:
- Putting the phone in Airplane mode for about 30 seconds
- Disabling mail for the specific email account in the settings, reboot the phone, and then re-enable mail for the specific account.
