So I did an unboxing of the new magic keyboard with Touch ID.
This thing comes in at $179 USD or $209CAD I think that’s kind of expensive considering it does not have backlit keys.
Touch ID is quite handy though. For me, I use my MacBook Air in clamshell mode 99% of the time I use it. So having Touch ID is kind of a convenience for me as I can get to the computer quicker when I need it.
Although the keyboard is nice, I am not yet a fan of typing on it. I think its not tactile enough but I knew that going in. It is hard to go from a mechanical keyboard to this but overall its still a good typing experience.
