I have the beta installed on my M1 Mac Mini and thus far, only one app crashes when I try to open it —- 1Password. Other than that, it’s been quite stable.

It seems that in the latest beta Spotlight search is unable to search for locally installed applications. Anyone else experience this behaviour?

New defect I found. WindowServer might crash when switching between spaces (including full screen apps).

I have had it happen to me about 10 times now.

I’ve finally found the time to install the latest beta of macOS Monterey. It’s actually installing while watching the Cowboys vs Cardinals NFL Pre-Season football game…..

Beta 5 installed but it killed Outlook 2019! Known issue.

Well.. With this beta, I can't get external monitors to work, at all…

Edit 2021-09-30 03:21 UTC: At least iPadOS' SideCar feature still works, so it's a minor mitigation. Still a sub-par experience in my opinion. I have not tested AirPlay.

So, macOS Monterey 12.0.1 RC is here. Looks like there will not be a macOS 12.0.
