1. Refurbished late 2013 13" w/ 2.8 GHZ i7, 8 GB ram, 612 GB storage for $1600
2. New 2.8 GHz i5, 512 GB, 8 GB RAM, $1700
3. New 2.6 GHz i5, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB, $1579
I'm a student and the most I do with my current 2009 macbook pro is word, netflix, and iPhoto. It's performance is terrible loading internet videos / iPhoto, and takes 2+ minutes to open applications like pages and word. I don't have much in terms of storage--maybe 150 GB. My question is should I get the refurbished with a faster processor, or go with the 16 GB of RAM?
