MacBook Pro 13 inch touch bar

Looking for so,emadvice on the MacBook Pro 13 inch
Touch bar
Currently use an iPhone 7 plus.
I had the MacBook sold to a family member due to wanting a little more
Have iPad Pro 12.9 - was hoping to use it as a main driver
But as it turns out their are certain things I like doing certain things on Mac
Trying to see if I can hold off until new iMac , but unsure if I
Can wait to hear new updates or if will be better than touch Bar

Thoughts ???

I'm not sure there will be new Mac Book Pro(s) for a while the current lineup JUST came out. Although you NEVER know. I have been hearing rumors of new iMac. It's also possible of a MBP refresh with simply better CPU and/or more memory. Have not heard any rumors though.
