Please move post if necessary.
I have a MacBook Air (M1) 2020 and Apple TV running 15.5. After I connect to Airplay and I noticed the options for screen resolution are limited.
After I connect the computer to a projector using a VGA cable, the image is appears larger on a pulled down screen. The resolution is 1024x768 and I understand it is a different connection.
However, if I use Airplay to connect I don't get the same options to choose from and the image remains smaller on the screen.
When I go into Display settings then Scaled, the screen resolutions are limited and doesn't help to increase the image similar to when using a VGA connection.
What am I missing?
