when is the new macbook 2011 supposed to come out? any rumors?? i've been saving my pennies

The MacBooks were last refreshed in May, 2010... I've not heard any talk about a refresh for 2011... but I do expect one annually, and it's "overdue".

The 2011 edition of the MacBook Pros came out in February... probably won't be another until early 2012...

The MacBook Air is supposed to be refreshed with/after the release of OSX Lion... rumors point to a July 14 release...

Newer entry level macbooks are expected in the next couple of months...but to be honest, why someone would drop $1,000 on the regular macbook baffles me, since you can flub your way into a student discount on a macbook pro, spent just a hair more and have a vastly superior machine.
