Lowercase I with circle around it by wifi I'm on

Why do I have an I with circle around it by my wifiI'm hooked up to and why won't it let me upload videos & other things? It's saying I'm connected but won't let me do some stuff, like I made a Karol video and tried to upload it and it said to make sure I wasn't in airplane mode which of course I made sure of numurous times and kept saying the same thing about airplane mode and when I go to get on web it says I'm not connect to internet

Lowercase i with a circle is info. Tap that and it will show you your IP address and other things. I think they are unrelated things. I would try rebooting the wifi. Has it ever worked?

Yep, reboot the device, your cable/DSL/Dial-up modem as well as your Wi-Fi router/access point.
