My wife sync'd her 3gs iphone with her pc (iTunes) for the first time and lost all of her apps.....anyone know how she can recover the? I've tried 'bumping' but that did not re-set them. Thanks!

Lost apps while sync'ing with pc

She'll need to redownload them (free) from iTunes. Next time she syncs be sure to select Transfer Purchases before syncing so stuff bought on the phone is transferred to iTunes; otherwise you're telling the phone to sync with an empty iTunes library, which will result in deleted apps. You may also want to read some basic setup guides for iTunes, I'm guessing. Some of the settings can be a bit weird if you don't use it often.
Go to App store > Updates tab > Purchased > download thems thangs!
then...
Sync > transfer purchases = "yes" or "please sir, can I have some moar?"
or
Open iTunes on PC > iTunes Store > "Purchased" under "Quick Links" on right > click Apps tab > again... download them thangs!
then...
Plug in iPhone > go to iphone sync settings on iTunes from teh PC > apps tab > check "sync apps" > check every matootin app on this matootin plane and hit apply
then...
