Loss of touch when going to lock screen

I have run into a weird issue where I lose all "touch" capabilities when I go to the lock screen. it only seems to have happened to me once a day so far. All of the buttons work, but the screen does not respond to touch. i have to hard shut down the phone and reboot it.

once again, almost like clockwork, the touch screen failed on me right after locking my phone after a call.

this is weird, because again, it only has happened to me once a day

i'd try a hard-reset... if that doesn't work, a restore... if not... apple support for replacement

This has happened to me a few times since updating to iOS4 on Monday.
