Lock screen controls

Once a day, the music controls show up on my lock screen and I have to reboot to get rid of them. This never happened on my mini. Anyone know what's causing this?

I've seen this before on my iPhone 6s Plus. Not sure what causes it. Could be closing a music app without turning the song off first. That's just a guess.
Update: I may have been half right. I read where it's music played in Safari and not closed out. So maybe try closing out any music in Safari before closing the Safari app. We shall see.

Good call. I tracked it down to one of my game apps. If I don't close it, the music controls show up the next time I bring up the lock screen. Now to figure out why this is an issue with the Air 2 and not the Mini 4.
