Lock button problems

Has anyone experienced that once in a while when you press the lock button the screen doesn't turn on? It happens like once in every 3 weeks.

i have not with new devices but with older devices i have.. i think its just delayed responce from the IOS

It's probably just software related. At once every three weeks I wouldn't be too concerned.
