I had a similar experience with another weather app that I used to use but it is no longer available anymore. Hopefully after your trial the premium lifetime will show

Today being the day my 3 day trial of 'Hello Weather' premium features is/was shown to expire, and sure enough, my iCloud subscription data indicates 'expired'. No notes from them yet about renewing, BUT the premium features I wanted, and went 'lifetime' for years ago, still appear to function ie choice of source beyond Dark Sky, much nicer App icon for iPhone / iPad. So I guess the real litmus test will really be "Do those features still work tomorrow " - stay tuned-

Hello Weather actually contacted me yesterday and stated that the 99¢ monthly subscription expired, but they might bring that special back next month. My original concern was about the widget being barely visible during the rain notifications and they advised me they're still working on it.
Good luck with your previous subscription, I hope it works out for you.

Actually had me more 'confused' than upset. But now it's working as it used to do - and I haven't paid anything 'again' so let's see...

(Side note-created this new theme but still trying to figure out how to make the text on the icon larger so it can be readback to the drawing board again...)

Sorry - bit of a sequence error with my reply which was intended to clarify a quick discussion with 'spencerdl' re the upgrade ( or not) to 'Hello Weather App....Well the bubble burst & my 'plusses' ie premium & lifetime disappeared and I'm once again being prompted to upgrade. So I am doing the trial 3 days again & will probably go lifetime simply to have one less thing to forget. They get a good deal from me as lifetime has a different implication than if I was a youngster like many out there - but the premium features are very handy ie many more weather sources even than before - a much tweaked display since my old original, more homescreen icon options too....

I think I'm going to pass on the Hello Weather $1.99 monthly (I would have paid the 99¢ monthly subscription). I have so many weather apps already and the Hello Weather widget on the free version is good enough for now. For actual weather information from the app, I still like BeWeather and the loads of information it provides and the way it's set up as well as the ability to change my personalized weather icons. Enjoy.

Absolutely. BeWeather / Dark Sky is probably excellent where supported and the icon set flexibility is amazing. You have created the Cadillac of Weather Apps!!

I have the 99¢ for Hello Weather, BUT I have soooo many other doohickies of apps that I’m subscribed to that I don’t even know at this point how much it’s costing me monthly as I’ve lost track I’m going to look thru my subscriptions and cancel some stuff.

Understood. I did that a couple of months ago and saved myself a few dollars monthly. If l like the free version and barely use the 'extra stuff' that the premium gives...well

Every once in a while I try to clean house & plug leaks as well -both from a storage aspect and the nickel & dime stuff. Generally I use apps with ads to test the concept then if I like & use I buy. But needs change and often better apps & displays come along so the broom comes out. I should at times use a similar broom for the cobwebs in my brain when I try to reconcile my apps but it's much better displayed & intuitive now in iCloud.
