@Quis89 - yeah, it's got to be somewhere easy to use. The one thing I'm not a huge fan of on the S8 is that fingerprint sensor. Maybe Apple can come up with something better...
Same. I'm hoping they do. With the way I use my phone at my desk, a rear finger print sensor would be hugely inconvenient. (In a "first world problems" sort of way, of course lol)
Case manufacturers probably will design their ware with that in mind.. . . Another problem with a rear facing touchID sensor would be the millions people who use cases. .

Hoping they figure out how to put the sensor under the display but I'm starting to think Apple isn't quite ready for it yet.
I hope it's not OLED. I'm using iPhone because of the LCD display.
OLED = burn-in.
Is burn-in really a problem anymore? From what I've heard from people in the industry it's not really something they're concerned with.
Screen burn-in is really a problem and even Samsung is helping with preventing it on the S8/S8+: http://www.theverge.com/circuitbrea...ng-galaxy-s8-home-button-moves-screen-burn-in

If they put the FPS on the back let's hope it's placed in a similar location as LG. I love my Samsung S8+ but the sensor is dumb.
