Well if I'm posting from my laptop I use the toolbar to chose my color. Now if I'm posting from my iPhone or iPad, I sometimes use auto tx because I have the HTML code stored. Ie: [color= purple] type what you want between these bars[/ color]

Also some color codes are just a series of numbers as well.

I had to leave spaces otherwise you wouldn't be able to see the bracket codes for the color -if I left the spaces out, what I typed would've been purple simple as that!!
