A child has managed to rack up thousands of dollars in in-app purchase debt after adding her fingerprint to Touch ID on her iPad.

Sorry, absolutely zero sympathy here.

Who's at fault here? The parents. They are the ones who set up the iPad, and obviously added a form of payment.

And yes, I'm speaking as a parent who had a minor child with an iOS device.

Monitoring a Childs activity is a parents responsibility, and not just iPad app payments. Parents should monitor everything in their child life. I'm with Moderator @Lee_Bo on this one.
