Just upgraded as settings suggested now only blank screen and won't shut off, what do I do now?

Just upgraded as settings suggested now only blank screen and wont shut off

Only have blank screen, phone will not shut off or turn on? just white lit screen what do I do now?

Try plugging into a computer and upgrading/restoring through iTunes.
