just had to change my password for my email it says that my user name or password is incorrect

I went into settings and mail, changed the password and usernames to the correct ones and they still won't take. I noticed when I put a wrong password in it says "verifying" at the top but then when I go back in and put the correct password in and click done there is no "verifying" it just brings me back to the mail screen. I went in and changed the primary server to off and switched on of the other SMTP servers to on since that is my outgoing mail but still nothing. I logged into my email just fine on the computer but it still won't take on the mail app on my phone.. please help!

First off I'm assuming you picked the correct mail server from the list and you were putting in the password with case sensitivity in mind?

Do you have mobile enabled on your account as I have seen this issue in the past
