jalbreaken iphone doesn't work after hard reset

I have bought an used jailbreaken iphone. In order to delete all previous user data I selected in settings the hard reset. After this the iphone is not more starting and a silver apple with a small sun symbol appears on the screen while itunes doesn't see more the iphone. Anybody can help me?

just ran into this same issue.....very upset....what's the point of jailbreaking this if this garbage continues to happen?

I have found that "Erasing all data" is problematic with a jailbroken iPhone. Only way I was able to get it to boot back up was to restore via iTunes.
