Jailbroken - Can you still use the appstore

I am thinking of jailbreaking a 3g but want to know if once jail broken you can still use the app store.

And if so, do app store and non app store applications coexist ok.

Thanks but I had a little trouble searching since the board does not allow three letter workd in the search.

so my search for "jailbreak app store" returned this:

The search term you specified (app) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.

And my other searches did not turn up any results.

Yeah, well aware of that. And I still have it happen from time to time. I just searched for "jailbreak store". Got the results you were looking for.
