jailbreak/unlock iphone 3g?

HI everyone! i have been jailbreaking/unlocking 3gs's but not a 3g. I need some help. its on 4.2.1 and not sure what the baseband is but it was factory reset (restore as new). would i just jailbreak it and unlock it? with greenpoison and ultrasnow ipad 6.15 baseband? I also heard of "Fuzzyband" do i need this?
