#1 so do i need to have the sim card i wish to use already in the iphone? cause im planning to sell the unlocked iphone on craigslist i don't wanna have to double back work it to work for the customer

#2 do i have to get my iphone to out of the factory condition where it says "slide for emergency" before using quickpwn or do i just plug it in as is (2.2 v)?

well, it sounds like we need some more info... sounds like you are trying to unlock your phone, not jailbreak it. you wont be able to unlock your phone on 2.2 yet. only on 2.1 (baseband issue).
