Jailbreak: iPhone will not go into recovery mode.

I followed the instructions to unlock my 2g phone, located the .bin files, etc. But the QuickPwn process is stopped at the "Wait for your iPhone to connect in Recovery Mode..." screen.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you have iTunes v8.2 installed on your PC? If so, jailbreaking will not work. There was an article in theiphoneblog.com stating that iTunes 8.2 will prevent jailbreak.
