Jailbreak iphone 3g

I was wondering if its possible because i remember reading some where that some one bricked their 3g like this?

yr chance of bricking it is the same chance when upgrading the firmware from Apple.

I agree with "melwan". Your not likely to brick your phone, but it does happen in some cases. The simple method to ease your mind is if something goes wrong then simply restore it back to factory settings in itunes. It's that simple. GO FOR IT!!!!!
