well my sister had a 2g iphone. she jailbroke it and didnt have a data plan. she kept dropping and the home button eventually didnt work and theres cracks and dents all over. she just got a new phone and i took this one (i already have a 3g so i dont need it as a phone) i want to use it as an ipod for my car. however i cant do anything with it without going through the whole att activation via itunes (selecting the plans and stuff as if you just got the phone). is there a way to jailbreak it without having to activate it?
EDIT: well i just went through the jailbreaking process and it worked all the way up until i needed to put it into dfu mode, which i cant cas the home button doesnt work. so ill need to fix that first
