Jailbreak 8.1?

I just got a iPad Air2 and its on ios 8.1.
Pangu doesn't seem to work for me.
So my question is and I stuck on 8.1 and have to wait until they jailbreak ios 8.4.1 or is there another way.

8.4.1 jailbreak likely won't be made public until they figure out if iOS9 breaks the exploits used. Update it 8.4.1 and use it until 9 comes out...

What he said? you can't upgrade and jailbreak, but what kind of errors are you getting trying to jailbreak 8.1?
