I just downloaded several songs from iTunes on my phone and then connected my phone to my computer to charge the phone. All songs transferred to the computer and are no longer on my phone. What did I do wrong??

Hmm not sure, just to check you only have tried to sync with one computer right? Check your itunes sync menu and make sure that sync all music is checked then try to sync again. Hope that helps.
