Itunes sync issues after restoring pc

Hi all! I'm new to the forum - first post here - I desperately need your help.

Recently due to a monumental tits up, I needed to restore my laptop to factory settings, so after a clean install (of Windows XP) I have come across a problem.

I've installed the latest version of iTunes, anyway, I can't sync my iPhone to the Laptop. I want to copy what's on my Iphone on to my laptop (I can sign in or w/e if it's necessary to clarify the purchased apps are indeed mine) but it won't let me.

I try clicking sync, but then I get warned that it will wipe the phone, and sync it to my library (in which I have 0 apps after the restore) which would mean losing them all, and redownloading gigabytes of apps.

How can I get the apps off my Iphone back on to my laptop and into Itunes?

If you need any more info, just let me know.

Right click on the phone and choose transfer purchases

Thanks! I found it after some fiddling eventually (and authorising my laptop again) but I appreciate the help!
