iTunes Match Library Question

I have a quick question about how iTunes Match handles multiple libraries. I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac, and my question is this. If I change the metadata of a song in one libaray should that change occur in the other? So for instance if I change the Artist on a song on my iMac, should that change appear (eventually) in the library of my MacBook? Or do I have to make the change manually?

Just tried changing one to see and the change showed up on my other computer almost immediately.
