iTunes duplicated all my music, how can I fix it?

First go to view > show duplicate items




then you can sort all the duplicates by date added. If you do not have the date added tab, then right click on the gray bar and select 'date added' This will sort all the duplicated items together by date.





Now you will be able to delete all the duplicate items by bulk versus 1 by 1.
