I looked for his stand up shows. So sad to hear him talk about his addictions and it's so obvious he tried so hard to work through them.

I also find it very poignant that one of his best roles in the movie Awakenings was about a doctor who treated Parkinson's, if I recall correctly....and he was in the early stages of Parkinson's.

So very sad. I loved his work.
