iTunes 9.0.3 "SAFE"?

With all the junk going around about 3.1.3 and Apple's trying to "LOK" the iPhone to JB'ers, is iTunes 9.0.3 SAFE? I know this sounds a little weird but you know how Big Brother is always trying to keep the upper edge....

It is possible they could slip something into the upgrade. LOL

Thank's Guy's for the info. I'm NOT one to "RUN" out and upgrade or update everytime a new upgrade or update is released. Things "REALLY" need to be changed before I do. I have found MOST, what I call, "step" upgrade's are minor anyhow and really don't change the performance or looks .
