It hit home for me when Apple left out the charger

My brother in law today actually needed a new charging brick that worked with the USB c to lightning cable I was given from the iPhone 12 pro max and I had to say to him that I didn't have one, which was quite a bummer.

I guess that's the lifestyle we just have to get used to if we buy into this ecosystem .

I think it’s just part of the process of preparing for the port less iPhone. I suspect MagSafe will be the only charger in a couple years.

I might wait till that happens, and then buy last years model ! I had planned to get a new phone in 2022 but at the moment am thinking of waiting longer, to see what my iPhone habit really costs per year !
