Just had this come up playing a game and I've had stuff like this also pop up on Facebook. Usually click bait I figure but found it be something trying to infect my phone?

Wow... That definitely looks like spam. I'm not sure what to say as I've never seen anything like that before on iPhone.

Yeah and sometimes you can't just swipe the app closed and are forced to click it.

Is that just something that comes up with that particular crossword puzzle app? If so, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see what happens.

I've had it up just this once well just yesterday but would keep coming up. I just worry these things are messing with my phone cause it seems to eat battery. I keep it on low power mode lately

Double-click home, then swipe the app to close it. Looks like spamware (or worse), possibly embedded in that particular app. Go to App Store to app and see if any reference to it in Reviews. If not, leave a review mentioning it, then delete app and choose another similar product.

So far just on that app. I'll get things on facebook to if I do those quiz type things where it scans your profile to get the answer I'm told. Like for instance "Who's in your mafia family" Those kinda quizzes, I think its meaww and vonvon that offer them. It will say it wants to open something outside of facebook. I just close it all out and don't let it.

Oh, I would never do those quizzes on my iPhone/iPad. I only do those on my computer instead.
