Is there an RFID blocking cover for an iPhone?

I want to protect the info on my phone. If I cover it with blocking material, will the phone receive calls and messages? Does turning the phone completely off protect it?

What "specifically" are you trying to protect that passcode locking the phone and not allowing anyone to handle it can't provide? As for the thread question, I don't know.
